Unit HLTFA301B Apply First Aid
This course covers all the critical, basic first aid points, and is a practically-orientated programme. Participants are assessed on both practical and theory components. A statement of attainment is issued to successful participants. The qualification is valid for three years.
This course meets the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA) requirement Unit HLTFA301A Apply First Aid & aligns to the National Guideline Standards for First Aid Unit A.

1. Dasar-dasar pertolongan pertama
2. Pemeriksaan primer dan pemeriksaan sekunder
3. Teknik memanggil bantuan medis
4. Penunjang Hidup Dasar/Basic Life Support : Resusitasi Jantung dan Paru (CPR)
5. Syok dan pingsan
6. Luka perdarahan: memar, perdarahan luar, perdarahan dalam, luka bakar
7. Cedera tulang dan sendi : terkilir, dislokasi sendi, patah tulang
8. Alat dan perlengkapan pertolongan pertama.
9. Pembalutan
10. Pembidaian
11. Keracunan, termasuk gigitan dan sengatan binatang berbisa
12. Penyakit-penyakit darurat : serangan jantung, stroke, epilepsi, diare
13. Gangguan akibat suhu ekstrem : kelelahan panas, heat stroke, hypothermia
14. Teknik evakuasi dan transportasi korban
15. Simulasi
